Tuition and Tuition Assistance

Many parents believe that a Catholic education is a key component and investment in their child's spiritual, intellectual, and social development.  St. Joseph Parish shares those goals and supports Catholic education for all its families.

The cost to educate one student at St. Joseph School exceeds $5000.  This cost, however, is shared through a variety of means including a generous parish subsidy, fundraisers, and tuition paid by parents.

Tuition Assistance:

St. Joseph Catholic School offers financial assistance through the our parish's scholarship fund. Our parishioners have graciously developed a program to aid families allowing an affordable rate for educating students. Families may apply for a scholarship through this program.

The Catholic Diocese of Lansing awards financial scholarships through the
Private School Aid Service (PSAS).  The Greater Lansing Catholic Education Fun (GLCEF) Tuition Assistance Grants are open to any family with student(s) entering K-12th grade at a Catholic School in the Northwest Region. Those with students entering grade 6 and whose home parish is in the Diocese of Lansing may be eligible for a Diocesan Scholarship. Application forms are available on the Diocese website here.
